alicia 6th blog
Hello today I will talking about one of my favorite novels Matilda. Why I like this is a good book is because it teaches you a lesson. That lesson is don't treat someone the way you don't want to be treated. And the amazing person who wrote this book is Roald Dahl. And he wrote so many different other amazing books like Charlie and the chocolate factory , James and the giant peach,The BFG, and many more.
In the story when Matilda goes to school she made friends fast. That reminded me when I went to school and I made friends. That made me realize how happy Matilda must of felt when she made a friend.
Some themes of this book are Disrespect because the principal made a kid eat a BIG HUGE cake. Family because Matilda has a family that is mean to her. Fear because sometimes the principal sends you in a room that has broken glass and it has large nails and she locks you in the room sometimes she leaves you in there all day.
A transformed thought I had was I imagined the school being nice. But when they mentioned it was a terrible place it changed my entire pint of view.
My last thoughts is was her brother treated the same way by the parents? I hope you enjoyed my 6th blog bye.
