Hi again, this time I will talk about a book called LES MISERABLES by VICTOR HUGO! The book is amazing and really interesting!
One connection I have to the book is at the beginning when Jean Val - Jean is writing the whole book as like a letter, and that reminds me of a lot of other books I have read and it reminds me of what we had to do in novel study where we had to write a letter to the main character in the book. Another connection I have to the book is when Javert and his men were chasing after Jean Val - Jean and Cossette and they were cornered. That reminds me of a lot of movies I have seen when people are tracking them down.
One of the themes in the book is war because in France they had a revolution at the time where the story is being told. Another theme in the book is revenge because Javert didn't want Jean Val - Jean to get out of jail so he always keeps an eye on him and sometimes tries to kill him.
Before I read the book I thought it would be really boring and not that good but really it is adventurous and very good written. I really hope you read this book because it is so emotional and as I said just amazing! Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my blog!
