Blog #6 -Avani

This week I am reading a book called The Boundless, By Kenneth Oppel. So far I really like this book. It's so good I can't put it down! It's about a boy named Will who goes to see his dad who is working on the C.P.R. a couple years later his father has got his own train that he built, and Will gets to come with him on the first train ride across Canada. 

I think the themes are Circus, trains, and stealing. Circus is a theme because there is a circus on the train called Zircus Dante. At one point Will is running away from someone and he joins the circus for a couple days. Trains is a theme because they are riding on a big train across Canada. Stealing is also a theme because there is a bunch of bad guys and they try to steal gold, and someone else is trying to steal something very valuable, and that the owner really liked.

My connection is in this book two circus people try to steal something and Will believes that their good and they are just going to help him hide but he was wrong. In a movie I watched this person tries to steal a very valuable necklace that belongs to someone. The person the robber is stealing from doesn't suspect anything, the person just thinks its a normal person that doesn't know about the necklace, and that that person won't touch it! But near the end of the movie the robber gets caught and has to return the necklace. 

My transformed thoughts are there is two people in the book that help Will hide and they protect hide from the bad guys but later in the book one of them steals  something and the other one helps the other guy to do it. I thought that they were both good and they wouldn't do that but turns out I was wrong.
