Hello another one of my favorite books is Matilda. Because I love how it talks about a girl where in the beginning she does not really fit in but in the end she ends up being treated like any other child. And the author of this amazing book is Roald Dahl. And he has wrote a whole more books like The BFG,Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,The Enormous Crocodile, Going Solo, The Twits, The Witches, James and the Giant Peach and many more. What I think of this book is it is not like any other book. Because most books talk about fantasy and others but this one really stands out because of like all the emotions the character is going through.

A connection that I made with the book is in the story Matilda always wanted to go to school. and that reminded me of when I was excited to go to school at the beginning of the year. And it made me understand how excited Matilda must felt when she went to school for the first time.

A theme of this book is disrespect because know one  respected Matilda except for Mrs. Honey.Cruelty because the principal made a kid eat a HUGE HUGE HUGE chocolate  cake all by himself.Fear because everyone fears the principal because if she gets mad at you she could send you to the chokey a chokey is a small narrow doreway with glass and broken nails in it and if she gets mad at you she  will send you there and sometimes she leaves you in there all day long.

One of my transformed thoughts is when Matilda was going to go to school I thought it was going to be a lovely place. But it turned out that it was a nasty place to go to school because of the really mean principal. She once threw a person over a fence by her hair. Another transformed thought is in the beginning I thought the principal was going to be nice but she turned out to be a cruel and  mean person.

My last thought is will the principal come back to the school. Since in the end the principal ran away. and will there be another book about Matilda.
