The book I am reading is I Survived The Bombing of Pearl Harbor, 1941. The author is Lauren Tarshis. I think that this is a good book because it teaches you about some of the history of World War II. In the story, a boy named, Danny, moves from New York City to Hawaii. He has to move because his mom wants him to get away from his friends who she believes are a bad influence on him and the dangerous streets of New York City.

I like this book because there are lots of juice words and lots of details the writer is rely good at putting realistic pictures in the book of purl harbor and the navy ships that they use to attack the other ships and planes.

My connection is when Dany goes to Honolulu because me and Mary Anne and I went on a trip to Honolulu when Holly had to stay home and do work.

I think that the book tells you about the people that serviced the bombing and that got hurt but still serviced and that some people were close to Pearl Harbor and past away.

This book is a very good book. I suggest that you read it if you like to learn about history.
