Lady Lollipop
The book I am reading is Lady Lollipop. The author is is Dick King-Smith.
I like this book because it has a message about how not to act when you don’t get your way and at the end how to act when you don’t get your way in a polite way not an angry way that you yell and scream.
My connection is that Queen Ethelwynne doesn’t want a pig in the palace and I know that my mom would not like a pig in the house ether.
The theme in how and how not to act when you don’t get your way because you should be open to other peoples suggestions and answers not just want what think but what other people think as well.
I am thinking that the Queen just gave up on trying to convince the king to change the Princesses mind and keep the pig in the barn and make the trainer Johnny Skinner a duke and Lollipop a lady.
If you like books that have queens, kings and princesses you should read this book and other books by Dick King-Smith.
