I am currently reading Madame Pamplemousse and her incredible edibles. The author was Rupert kingfisher. So far the book is a blast. This book is about a girl who has an uncle who owns a restaurant. Her uncle only let’s his niece wash the dishes. One day he sends her on an erin to get some ingredients. She finds a shop and walks in. She meets a lady and this lady’s name was Madame pamplemousse. This lady helps this girl and later on the girl finds her true talent. The girls uncle wants his niece to steal from madame pamplemousse after the girl brought one of madame pamplemousses ingredients to her uncle.
In the book when madeline has to stay with her uncle she is, lonely with no one she really knows until she talks with the chefs at her uncles restaurant .When I was at camp in camp elphinstone I didn’t know anybody until I talked with them.I think the themes are cooking, shopping, washing dishes,critiques and talking cats. First I thought that madame pamplemousse was bad but then I found out the uncle wasn’t very nice. I hope you enjoyed reading my post and I hope you read this book.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean when you don't know anybody, one time I was at summer camp, and it seemed as if everyone in my camp new somebody exempt for me! Also how come talking cats is a theme does she have a pet talking cat?!
