A book written completely in instant messages... What book is it? Why, of course it's TTYL! TTYL is a book that is written completely in instant messages, by Lauren Myracle. I really like this book, although it can get a little inappropriate. But, other then the inappropriateness, it really is a great book!
A connection I made with the book is a text to text connection. When Maddie in this book is trying to get her driver's license, it reminded me of when in Schooled, Sophie Donelly is also trying to get her driver's license. That is a connection because both Maddie and Sophie are trying to get their driver's license.
I think the themes of this book are prejudice, because Maddie teases Zoe just because Zoe started to go to church. Another theme might be friendship, because when Maddie makes a BIG mistake, and she's ignoring everyone, while Angela and Zoe are trying to comfort her and help her, she ignores them too, and also says rude things. I think friendship and prejudice are the themes of TTYL.
A transformed thought I had was at the beginning of the book, I thought that Angela, Maddie, and Zoe will stick together no matter what, but somewhere near the end, Maddie doesn't seem to like Angela and Zoe anymore, but in the actual end, they're go back together. It's just that there was a point where the three of them kind of fell apart. Those are my transformed thoughts on this book.
