The book I have been reading this week is called…  Anne Frank’s Diary! It is such an awesome book because its her actual diary but just translated from dutch to english. In the book she wrote how she survived hiding from the Nazi’s. The book has so much thought in it and its very, very interesting. If you like reading about hitler and the jewish people you would love this book. I also loved  how all of her secrets were included in this diary like her first crush, and stuff about her friends ect. Anne wrote very carefully and treated her diary will lots of care. When Anne wrote in kitty [her diary] she always used so much description.

My first connection was when I first started the book Anne got a diary for her birthday and she named it Kitty. That reminded me of the time when I got a diary for my eighth birthday and I wrote in it for only like 2 weeks so as you can see it didn’t last very long. But I remember for the time that it did last it was fun writing in a diary. I also have a connection in the book when she started going into hiding it reminded me of  when I started hiding when I was playing hide and go seek with my neighbors.

The themes would probably be… fear, hope and trust. Why I chose fear as a theme is because they are scared every single day that the Natzis will kill them or take them to a concentration camp. Why I chose hope is because all the jewish people probably hoped every single day that the war would be over and Hitler would be killed. My last one was trust, I chose trust because all the jewish people probably had to trust the people that were hiding them and giving them a safe home.

My transformed thought is probably when she first got the note that she will have to go into hiding. Why I chose this moment is because Anne in her diary didn’t sound so scared so she was probably very brave but then as I got more further in the book then I realized that she was scared. My other transformed thought would probably be when her friend’s boyfriend broke up with her and started liking Anne so, wouldn't Anne be in trouble by her friend? In the end the friend wasn’t mad at Anne so I got kinda confused.

I think so far the book… Anne Frank's Diary has been a great book so far. So I personally think that you should try it out! It has so much adventure, fear, and great writing [juicy words]. This has been my first blog.
