Blog #4

I read a super duper good book this week called 'Princess Of The Silver Woods' by Jessica Day George. It is suspenseful and thrilling and leaves you wondering about what is going to happen next.

This is a text/text connection:
I connected to when Petunia got kidnapped by Oliver. This reminds me of  when I was reading Princess of Glass because the Corley kidnapped Ellen to replace Mary Jane who went on a ship with her father named the Corley and never returned.

I think the themes of this book are Enchantment because of the under stone world and the silver trees that sprouted out of Maude's brooch, Love because Olga loves Grigori, Petunia loves Oliver, Rose loves Galen, Lily loves Heinrich, Poppy loves Christian all like each other and the unconditional love from King Gregor, Royalty because Christian, Poppy, Lily, Oliver, Petunia, Daisy, Hyacinth, Gregor, Emily are all royals, Wealth because the Grand Duchess and (eventually) Gregor's family are all incredibly rich

I thought that Oliver was mean and wanted Petunia's money and to kill her but it turns out he had to kidnap her and steal her things because he needed the money to keep him his family and friends alive.  At first I thought that the Grand Duchess was nice and liked Petunia because she reminded her of her daughter Natasya but then as I read on I figured out that she only liked Petunia because of Grigori wanting to turn her in to Rionin (King Under Stone / Alexei her son that was taken away from her at birth) and get a reward that he would share with her.

This a really good book though not as good as the other two but still a great book that I recommend reading when you have time.*This is the third book* so read the following books first
#1 Princess of the Midnight Ball
#2 Princess of Glass
and now you can read this book
