Blog post 5

My book I am currently reading is Rapunzel revenge. It’s by Shannon and Dean Hale.So far it is really good . It’s about a girl named Rapunzel who lives in a villa and she thinks her mother is a lady named Gothel. Gothel has special powers to grow stuff. Rapunzel finds a wall made of bricks when she climbed a tree. She always wondered what was on the other side. When she was a little older she climbed up and saw horrible junk and smoke and it was really disgusting. Suddenly Rapunzel found her real mom. But later Rapunzel was brought back and was taken to a tall tree where she would die if she jumped out.

When Rapunzel was running as fast as she could it reminded me of when I was racing in track and field for 1000 metres I was so tired. Rapunzel was running away from one of the guards from the villa. When I was running I was thinking to myself to stay calm and relax and run. Although you don’t stop it’s just that you breathe normally. Besides one of the guards was on a bull. But since Rapunzel found a guy he helped her escape! Yay!

Spoiler alert!
The themes are growing, stealing, long huge tree, wanted signs and prisoners. Growing because Gothel has powers to grow stuff which for those who need that have to pay taxes. Stealing because Gothel stole Rapunzel from her real mother.Long huge trees because Rapunzel was put up there. There were three books food and a bed. Rapunzel was so board unless for drawing, skipping, hopping, and reading . Rapunzel finished the books and memorized them by the second year. Wanted signs because after Rapunzel got long hair, she escaped from the tower and later found that she was on a wanted sign because of friends of Gothel. Prisoners because later the friends of Gothel put them in a prison.

This book is  such a good book and I think everyone should read it. There is another book related called Calamity Jack so you should check that book out! Thank you for reading this blog! :)
